Firstly, AAPT has its own domestic fibre backbone throughout Australia, which gives flexibility to automatically upgrade any link that exceeds pre-set utilisation thresholds, without consultation with any third party carriers.
Secondly, we source international access from Southern Cross, which is 50% owned by our parent TNZ, whilst maintaining international access via Telstra and Optus for redundancy purposes.

A domain name gives an organisation a unique descriptive address on the Internet which can be used to create email addresses, Web addresses or any other Internet address. AAPT offers Global Roaming services through both GRIC and iPass affording AAPT clients roaming access to the Internet in 150 countries worldwide. Global Roaming allows you to use your AAPT account in many countries around the world conveniently and economically. You don't need to apply for any special accounts, simply check roaming services are available in the location you require and collect settings and support information before you travel. Because you dial-in to local POPs in the country you are visiting, you avoid expensive international calls. Your Internet usage while abroad is billed back to your regular AAPT account at a low flat hourly rate.
AAPT provides monthly billing for goods and services supplied. On a GST compliant tax invoice AAPT will supply details of the services being billed for and the appropriate usage charges. AAPT's billing clearly indicates the services being charged for and the total invoice amount.
