Fire Sprinklers Double interlock pre-action sprinkler systems (sub-floor and ceiling level) within technical areas. Pipework is only charge with water on activation of two independent fire detection systems within the space. Wet pipe sprinklers are provided to all ancillary areas.
Smoke Detection Multi-point aspirated and point laser based detection selected for effective monitoring of air flow layers within general, subfloor and return air path of process coolers in technical space. Addressable point type smoke detection in ancillary areas.
The multi-point aspirated smoke detection system will have three stages of alarm;
1. Stage 1 (Alert)
2. Stage 2 (Pre-Alarm)
3. Stage 3 (Alarm)
Fire Extinguishers CO2 and Special fire extinguishers are provided throughout the building and technical areas.
Manned 24 x 7 staffed security
CCTV CCTV cameras strategically located around exterior, entrances, lifts, stairs and interior of building. Dedicated camera coverage of technical areas. 30 day archive tape system.
Access Building access via fully staffed security control room. Access to technical areas via man trap. Access control via palm reader, proximity cards and pin systems.
Site Entrance Secure loading dock for equipment deliveries.
Alarm Systems Intrusion detection alarms include perimeter and internal door sensors and motion detectors throughout technical and general spaces. Intrusion alarms linked to CCTV system.
Access Floor Drainage Drainage within the access floor serves both gravity condensate discharges from the process coolers and minimises the risk of water damage in the event of water ingress.
Lifts and Delivery Passenger and goods lift and dock levellers are installed for movement of people and equipment.
Building Management System A dedicated Facilities Management System is installed to monitor and / or control all critical engineering services including environment, power systems, security, access, fire alarms, etc.
